Find out your skin type here, and then you can start building!

It's best to keep your skincare routine simple, without adding too many products to your skin, but at the same time doing enough to keep your skin looking its best.  Below is a general, basic routine, which is explained further down the page. We generally want to keep our skin looking and feeling its best, help repair past damage to our skin, prevent further damage and minimize irritation.

CLEANSER.

WHAT IS CLEANSING?

Cleansers remove a build up of dirt, oils, makeup, dead skin cells and more. Cleansers are great for cleaning our skin without stripping the necessary layers of our skin. These tend to be more hydrating than face washes.

WHEN SHOULD I CLEANSE?

Generally, it is best to cleanse morning and night to achieve best results. You should also cleanser after a workout to prevent clogged pores, leading to breakouts.

Pay attention to your skin as too much cleansing can lead to irritation.

TONER.

WHAT IS A TONER?

Toners add a healthy layer to better absorb your skincare products. They add additional nutrients which can replenish the skin after cleansing.

WHEN SHOULD I APPLY TONER?

Cleanse first to remove any dirt, oils and makeup. After rinsing and drying your face, then apply the toner.

SERUM.

WHAT IS A SERUM?

Serums are perfect for treating specific skincare concerns as they can penetrate deeper into the skin layers. Serums deliver powerful ingredients directly onto the skin.

WHEN SHOULD I APPLY SERUM?

This can vary between products. But with FACE., our serum is best applied after toner, before moisturiser.

MOISTURISER.

WHAT IS A MOISTURISER?

A moisturiser is used to hydrate the skin and leave it smooth and soft to touch.

WHEN SHOULD I MOISTURISE?

Moisturiser is usually applied as a last step before SPF or makeup.

MASK.

WHAT IS A FACE MASK?

Face masks drive ingredients closer and deeper into your pores, allowing your skin to soak up more of the product.

WHEN SHOULD I USE A MASK?

Masks can be used day or night (whenever it fits in with your lifestyle) usually after a serum. Masks shouldn't be used everyday, usually around 2/3 per week. Check the label on the mask for better information.

SPF.

WHAT IS SPF?

SPF stands for Sun Protection Factor, which highlights how much UV passes through. The higher the number, the less UV that passes through. SPF is important in skincare as it protects your skin from sun damage.

WHEN SHOULD I APPLY SPF?

SPF is best used as the final step of skincare. SPF is important to use even in the winter, when it may not seem like the sun is out.
